Instructor led Self-defense class provides psychological awareness and verbal skills with physical training. Learn to increase your options to help you prepare responses to slow down, de-escalate or interrupt an attack.
Sessions are 30 minutes with up to five members in each session. Trained instructor will evaluate fitness levels and establish goals for each member. Participants must complete a Health Questionnaire before beginning program.
Members have fun with friends while playing bingo. Players mark off numbers on cards as the numbers are drawn randomly by a caller. The first person to mark off five numbers in a row or another required pattern is declared the winner and can choose a prize.
Playing bucket drums is a fun way to practice percussion. Led by a certified teacher, members learn how to create unique sounds by striking different parts of the bucket. Buckets and drumsticks will be provided while in session. Program also includes Boomwhacker percussion tubes to further explore sound, pitch and rhythm.

The design of the class introduces easy-to-follow Zumba ® choreography that focuses on balance, range of motion and coordination. Come ready to sweat and prepare to leave empowered and feeling strong. Class is led by trained Zumba instructors.
Class is led by a certified art teacher who teaches different art techniques and styles using various mediums, surfaces, and brushes. The Lodge will host 2 art shows each year for families to see the works of art.
Led by a certified Yoga instructor, our classes offer gentle yoga for improvement of flexibility, strength, and relaxation.
Colin’s Lodge offers indoor rowing classes using high quality Concept 2 rowers. Compete in friendly competitions and distance challenges while getting a whole-body workout.
Members will use provided iPads to learn about various applications, practice using different features to learn how technology can be used in our everyday lives to become more independent. Members also discuss how to stay safe while using the internet and other technology.
Led by energetic, fun, and motivating instructors, our aerobics class offers various intensity routines allowing members to participate no matter their skill level. Classes combine cardio and strength training to improve all areas of fitness.
Country Line Dancing
Members follow the lead of dance teacher to learn a choreographed routine that has a sequence of repeated steps. Line dancing is especially fun since members are grouped into lines and all learn together while enjoying the music and moves.
Colin’s Lodge wants members to be active and will provide opportunities at all levels. Come walk with us in the gym to get those steps logged while we listen to music. Miles walked are logged and members work towards earning half marathon, marathon and 100 Mile Club shirts from Colin’s Lodge.
Members are taught all the basic dance skills like keeping rhythm, following choreography, and developing body control, as well as performance skills such as stage presence, acting and improvisation taught through Hip Hop and Funk style music and movement.
Instructor lead class that motivates exercise activities, including cardiovascular exercise (exercises for the heart and blood system), strength training, and stretching. For people of all ages and skill levels.
Members work on basketball skills and drills throughout the year. Members are given the opportunity to participate in team and game play within the Lodge during winter months.
Enjoy popcorn and a movie with friends in our state-of-the-art theater on select nights during the week.
Games and friendly competitions are offered throughout the year in the gym.
Members are taught skills from a coach and practice skills such as shooting and defending. All equipment is provided.
Dances and Parties
Monthly themed dances complete with music and lighting are offered monthly. Special events and parties like football watch parties, Men’s Day, Women’s Day and Holiday Celebrations are scheduled throughout the year.
